No. Under no circumstances are guests allowed to burn any natural or manufactured materials of any kind anywhere on the property. A gas fire pit is available to each dome. Please take care to operate according to instructions and clean after each use. Please also report any malfunctions to your host.

Yes! Inside the domes we prefer if you slip into a clean pair of sandals for flip-flops. This is to keep the domes clean and protect your feet. Some of the dome floors are made of wooden decking material which could produce unexpected splinters. Outdoors - shoes are also required at all times. Our terrain is notorious for cactus, burrs and sharp stones, not to mention foliage that could cause skin irritation or rashes. Again, shoes are required outdoors. RSR is not responsible for injuries.

Actually yes - we happen to think it's one of the most interesting things about living in this beautiful area. We share the outdoors with coyotes, fox, turkeys, eagles, so many birds!, skunks, deer, elk, mountain lions, spiders, snakes, flying insects, and more. Sightings of deer, turkeys, and bugs are common. The others we don't see often, but we know it's possible. Make good decisions when moving around outdoors after dark.

Due to the fire danger in this area, the following are ABSOLUTELY PROHIBITED AT ALL TIMES: smoking of any kind; fireworks; camp fires; outside grilling appliances or materials, including briquettes. Please help us protect the trees and wildlife by honoring these restrictions and being responsible about fire dangers.
